Octavio Fragueiro aka FO Estudio

Octavio Fragueiro (also known as FO_Estudio) is an artist and architect born in Córdoba, Argentina. His work explores the relationship between language and image, creating calligrams that convey positive messages inspired by music, embodying values such as friendship and love. His artistic journey began in his own backyard. During his teenage years, influenced by the rise of graffiti, he wanted to paint in the streets, but his parents did not allow it. Instead, they provided him with three walls in the backyard of his house to experiment. There, he explored different techniques: starting with letters, then stencils, realism, and ultimately discovering that he wanted not just to draw, but also to communicate. In an environment dominated by hate and noise, he chose to leave anonymous messages that made people sing in their minds rather than simply signing his name.

In recent years, his art has transcended borders, leading him to participate in projects in various cities. He has been part of initiatives such as the mural for United Rentals in collaboration with Beyond Walls in Massachusetts, the Bushwick Collective in Brooklyn, New York, and the Earth Day event in Grassy Key, Miami. Additionally, he has participated in the Wynwood Mural Festival for three consecutive years, sharing his passion with a global community.

Both in muralism and digital illustration, his work revolves around positivity, seeking change through color, music, and emotion. His art not only transforms spaces but also aims to create meaningful experiences through word and image.
